Close the page. Set parameters for Item info process Set parameters for Item info process As a store worker, you often need an insight in item information. For example, where is the item stored, what is the physical available quantity, and what is the applicable price. You can use the Item info process of the Anywhere for retail app to get the desired item information.Set the parameters that apply to the Item info process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1. Click Mobility management. 2. Click Anywhere app parameters. 3. Click the Retail tab. 4. Expand the Item info section. 5. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 6. Select Yes in the Item info - filter list by name too field. 7. In the Maximum quantity for promotion calculations field, enter a number. 8. In the Maximum number of items in search field, enter a number. 9. In the Maximum number of weeks for sales history field, enter a number. 10. In the First day of the week field, select an option. 11. Sub-task: Add ADC warehouse. 12. By default, on the main Item info form, physical available inventory is shown for the current warehouse only. You can also have physical available inventory shown for defined distribution center warehouses. To do so, add the desired distribution center warehouses. Click Add. Note: The detailed physical available inventory report always shows the physical available inventory in all stores and warehouses of the company. 13. In the Warehouse field, enter or select a value. 14. Close the page. Set parameters for Store transfers process Set parameters for Store transfers process As a store worker, you can ship items from your store warehouse to other stores or back to distribution center warehouses. You can use the Store transfers process of the Anywhere for retail app to enter and ship transfer orders.Set the parameters that apply to the Store transfers process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1. Click Mobility management. 2. Click Anywhere app parameters. 3. Click the Retail tab. 4. Expand the Store transfers section. 5. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 6. In the Maximum number of items in search field, enter a number. 7. Select Yes in the Print shipment document field. 8. Define the printer type to print shipment documents in the Store transfers process. In the Store transfer printer type field, enter or select a value. Note: A shipment document is only printed: - If a default printer is set up for the defined printer type, with the applicable warehouse and user defined for the default printer. - If a printer type is defined in this field. 9. Sub-task: Add distribution center warehouse. 10. Click Add. 11. In the Warehouse field, enter or select a value. 12. Close the page. Set parameters for Tag counting process Set parameters for Tag counting process As a store worker, you can do tag counting to compare the actual contents of a store with the on-hand inventory D365 FO. You can use the Tag counting process of the Anywhere for retail app to do the tag counting for your store.Set the parameters that apply to the Tag counting process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1. Click Mobility management. 2. Click Anywhere app parameters. 3. Click the Retail tab. 4. Expand the Tag counting section. 5. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 6. Select the default tag counting journal name to be used in Tag counting process of the Anywhere for retail app. In the Tag counting journal name field, enter or select a value. Note: If no journal name is selected, the first journal name of type Tag counting, as defined on the Inventory journal names page, is used. 7. Select Yes in the Set prefix for tags field. 8. Select Yes in the Show on-hand inventory field. 9. In the Maximum number of characters for prefix field, enter a number. 10. Close the page. Set parameters for Receipt process Set parameters for Receipt process As a store worker, you can receive purchased items or items from other stores or distribution center warehouses. You can use the Receipt journal process of the Anywhere for retail app to receive purchase orders or transfer orders.Set the parameters that apply to the Receipt journal process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1. Click Mobility management. 2. Click Anywhere app parameters. 3. Click the Retail tab. 4. Expand the Receipt section. 5. Select Yes in the Allow receipt of all lines field. 6. Select Yes in the Enter packing slip date for purchase orders field. 7. Select Yes in the Allow final receipt of purchase orders field. 8. Select Yes in the Allow receipt of all lines field. 9. Select Yes in the Enter packing slip date for transfer orders field. 10. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 11. Close the page. Set parameters for Label printing process Set parameters for Label printing process As a store worker, you usually need labels for the products or the shelves in the store. You can use the label printing process of the Anywhere for retail app to order the labels you need. Ordered batches of labels aren't printed immediately, but are saved to D365 FO, and printed in one go by the back office. With the Label printing process, you can, for example, prepare for promotions, rearrangements in the store, or relabeling of product groups.Set the parameters that apply to the Label printing process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1. Set parameters for Inventory adjustment process Set parameters for Inventory adjustment process As a store worker, it can be needed that you adjust your store inventory to keep it up to date. You can use the Inventory adjustment process of the Anywhere for retail app to make inventory adjustments to you store inventory.Set the parameters that apply to the Inventory adjustment process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1. Click Mobility management. 2. Click Anywhere app parameters. 3. Click the Retail tab. 4. Expand the Inventory adjustment section. 5. Select the default inventory adjustment journal name to be used in the Inventory adjustment process of the Anywhere for retail app. From the app, you can only create or open inventory journals with this name. In the Inventory adjustment journal name field, enter or select a value. Note: If no journal name is selected, the first journal name of type Inventory adjustment, as defined on the Inventory journal names page, is used. 6. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 7. Select Yes in the Post inventory adjustment journal on finish field. 8. Close the page. Set parameters for Inventory movement Set parameters for Inventory movement As a store worker, it can be needed that you register inventory changes in your store to specific cost accounts. For example, in case of damaged items, stolen items, or write-off of showroom items. You can use the Inventory movement process of the Anywhere for retail app to register these changes to your store inventory.Set the parameters that apply to the Inventory movement process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1. Click Mobility management. 2. Click Anywhere app parameters. 3. Click the Retail tab. 4. Expand the Inventory movement section. 5. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 6. In the Maximum number of items in search field, enter a number. 7. Select Yes in the Show on-hand inventory field. 8. Select Yes in the Allow positive quantity field. 9. Select Yes in the Post inventory movement journal field. 10. Sub-task: Add allowed journal names. 11. Define which journal names can be used to register inventory movements. You can, for example, have different journal names to register damaged items, stolen items, or write-off of showroom items. As a result, on creation of a journal, you can select the desired journal name from the allowed journal names. Click Add. Note: Define at least one journal name. 12. In the Name field, enter or select a value. 13. Close the page. Set parameters for Item ordering Set parameters for Item ordering As a store worker, you can order items for your store warehouse from the distribution center warehouses. You can use the Item ordering process of the Anywhere for retail app to create the inbound transfers from one or more distribution center warehouses to your store.Set the parameters that apply to the Item ordering process of the Anywhere for retail app. Procedure 1.
